First ambassadors’ meeting of the Utrecht Congress Alliance

On September 4, the first ambassadors’ meeting of the Utrecht Congress Alliance took place in the Royal Jaarbeurs. Jeroen van Hooff (CEO Koninklijke Jaarbeurs) opened the event, followed by Mayor Sharon Dijksma. With inspiring contributions from Nienke van der Malen (CEO & Founder Conferli) and fascinating conversations with ambassadors Bas Rodenburg (Professor of Animal Welfare) and Joyce Browne (Associate Professor of Global Health), the afternoon was a great success. Cor Jansen (Director Utrecht Marketing) underlined the importance of smart and successful collaboration in the most competitive region in Europe.

The emphasis is on association conferences and conferences of trade associations that tie in with the regional themes of Life Sciences & Health, New Digital Society and Smart Sustainability.
