How do you like your coffee in the morning?
“A delicious black cup of coffee in the morning makes my whole day. No fancy stuff like frappuccinos or cold brews, no milk or swirls, just a nice black cup of coffee and we are ready to start the day, delicious!”

Tell us more about your role at UCB / Utrecht Marketing
“I have been working as an online marketer for the UCB / Utrecht Marketing since November 2023. As a born and raised Utrechtian, there is nothing more fun and beautiful than putting “our city” on the map. This mainly involves running campaigns, analyzing data, optimizing the website, highlighting the highlights of Utrecht region on our channels etc. I work for Team Business and Team Leisure and the region positioning Utrecht, Heart of Health, so I get to deal with both the business and leisure side of Utrecht!”

What are you currently working on / heading towards?
“For the UCB, we are currently mainly busy with acquisition at conferences, where I am supporting. We also have great plans to revamp the website & venuefinder, we are in the process of integrating new email marketing software and we are always actively tapping into Utrecht’s business corporate market.”

What is your favorite place in the Utrecht region?
“One favorite place is impossible for me to name, I love the versatility of our province; the city centers packed with history, the forts, the parks, the forests and meadows – you name it and Utrecht has it. Local singer Herman Berkien aptly sang, “Utereg het moois van allemaol!”

Who would you like to have a cup of coffee with?
“I would love to have a cup of coffee with football players born in Utrecht such as Willem van Hanegem, Marco van Basten, and Wesley Sneijder. As a football player on a modest Utrecht friends team, it’s important to connect and exchange thoughts with peers from the industry once in a while! Just kidding of course, but Utrecht is a hotbed for top athletes. I could listen to their stories for hours!”
